Twin Coach Estates

A resident-owned community

Welcome Home!

Twin Coach Estates is a 55 and over resident-owned manufactured home community in Lakeville, Mass. Twin Coach Estates is conveniently located just 40 minutes from Providence, R.I. We are a terrific neighborhood for people who like a country setting with local conveniences. We have quick access to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, churches, hospitals and more, and we can run errands with enough time to return home for relaxation and fellowship. We are a friendly neighborhood for people who love outdoor activities and living in a small town.

Long Pond Park is a short 15-minute drive, where we enjoy boating, fishing and afternoon picnics. This hidden gem is the largest natural pond in Massachusetts. Just five miles from Assawompset Pond, this beautiful bird area features nesting bald eagles. We are surrounded by natural wildlife with easy access to cities. Twin Coach Estates is centrally located for easy access to all Lakeville has to offer.

Twin Coach Estates is owned by the Community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

We own it

The Member homeowners of Twin Coach Estates control the rent and make the rules. On May 29, 2014, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Twin Coach Estates. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.

We’re also part of a national network of more than 300 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Twin Coach Estates is truly different than in a commercially owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
